st. Luke's Military Hospital, Halifax [England]

 

brief history:

 

It was established in 1897 as the Halifax union st. Luke's hospital for cases from workhouses.

During WW1 it became a military hospital.

After that it became with some bureaucratic delay the Halifax general hospital.
