Beaufort War Hospital, Fishpounds, Bristol [England]

 

brief history:

 

It started mid 19th century next of the Stapleton mental building and named lunatic asylum called Fishpounds house.

In 1914 it was requisitioned by the war office and converted into military hospital for wounded soldiers.

After WW1 back to a facility for general mental patients.

In 1993 it was renamed the Glenside hospital and merged with others to become to Blackberry Hill hospital.
