Aldershot Connaught Hospital [England]
brief history:
This hospital - on North Camp, Aldershot - opened in 1897 and was named after duke of Connaught, commander of Aldershot district.
It had 1100 beds in WW1 [1914-1918], initially mainly for treating venereal infection and mental health cases later war casualties.
Hospital closed in 1948 and changed into Connaught barracks untill its closure.
Now it is demolished.
