Alder Hey Military (orthopaedic) Hospital [England]

 

brief history:

 

This hospital started March 1915 as back up for royal national orthopaedic hospital (London).

Treating mainly orthopaedic [limbless] cases.

Was a special 200 bed unit. An additional 100 bed limbless section was at Blackmore.
