Canadian hospital at st. Cloud [outside Paris]

 

brief history:

 

Situated on Saint-Cloyd racetrack just outside Paris [France].

 

This was before as stationary hospital no. 4 organized in Montreal [Canada] early 1915, later moved to Kent [UK].

During 20-9-1915 to 8-7-1916 it was at st. Cloud and that day it became known as the no. 8 general hospital.

The no. 8 general hospital stayed at st. Cloud from 8-7-1916 till 12-2-1919 with colonel A. Mignault as commander

and C.A. de Cormier as matron.

 

On 10-7-1916 till 4-8-1916 was temporarily stationed the general hospital no. 6 [Laval university].
