Southwark Military Hospital [England]

 

brief history:

 

It opened in November 1915 in the Southwark Union Infirmary on East Dulwich Grove, Southwark.

Treated over 12000 wounded soldiers.

Closed in April 1919, the building was returned to the Guardians of the Union.

Renamed in 1921 to Southwark hospital, closed in 2005 en since then redeveloped.
