Bath War Hospital [England]

 

brief history:

 

It was an cricket ground at Combe Park when in 1915 ten huts were build to hold 500 men.

By 1918 it had almost 30 fabricated huts to accomodate another 800 men.

In November 1919 the war hospital was taken over by ministry of pensions.

In 1929 it was closed down and transformed into the Royal United Hospital.
