11-15) Dumfries (Scotland):

     a) document dated 19-1-1852 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple shipowner county Dumfries,

         for 40/64 part owner of the sailing vessel brig "William MCGowan" of Dumfries 206 tons, has sold for £ 140 4/64

         part of that ship to James Halliday of Dumfries. Master of that ship John Dickson. Ship was build 1851 at Hytton

         in county of Durham by William Carr shipbuilder. [Dumfries-1a/d]

    b) document dated 3-6-1852 at port of Dumfries whereby John Dickson of Kirkendbright in stewartry of Kirken-

         bright, owner for 2/64 of sailing vessel barque "Dumfrieshire" of Dumfries 419 tons, has sold that 2/64 part for

         £ 156.10 to James Halliday iron monger of Dumfries. Master of that ship John Dickson. Ship was build in 1851

         at Pallion in county of Durham by John Smith the builder. [Dumfries-2a/d]

    c) document dated 1-8-1853 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple shipowner county Dumfries,

         has sold for £ 200 to James Halliday iron merchant of Dumfries, 4/64 part of a sailing vessel barcque "John

         Martin" of Dumfries 303 tons. Master of that ship Thomas Blark. Ship was build 1851 at Hytton in county of

         Durham by shipbuilder Carr. [Dumfries-3a/d]

     d) document dated 1-8-1853 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple shipowner county Dumfries,

         part owner for 48/64 of a sailing vessel the brig "Walter Duncan" 201 tons, has sold for £ 170 to James Halliday

         iron merchant of Dumfries, 4/64 part in that ship. Master of that ship John Martin. Ship was build in 1853 at

         Sunderland by John Smith the builder. The other part owner was Walter Duncan for 16/64. [Dumfries-4a/d]

    e) document dated 12-9-1853 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple shipowner county Dumfries,

         has sold for £ 275 to James Halliday iron merchant of Dumfries, 4/64 part of the sailing vessel the barque

        "Mouttan" of Dumfries 372 tons. Master of that ship John Martin. Ship was build 1849 at port of Bristol.

     f) document dated 3-2-1854 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple shipowner county Dumfries,

         has sold for £ 312.10 to James Halliday iron monger of Dumfries, 8/64 part of the saling vessel the barque

         "Dyson" of Dumfries 267 tons. Master of that ship Charles Henery Williams. Ship was build 1826 at Liverpool

         in county of Lancaster. [Dumfries-6a/d]

     g) document dated 23-11-1854 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple shipowner county Dumfries

         has sold for £ 318.15 to James Halliday iron merchant of Dumfries, 8/64 part of the sailing vessel "Allerton" of

         Dumfries 423 tons. Master of that ship James Dickson. Ship was build 1822 at Liverpool. [Dumfries-7a/d]

     h) document dated 6-12-1854 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple shipowner county Dumfries,

         part owner for 48/64 of the sailing vessel barque "Queen Bee" of Dumfries 337 tons, has sold 4/64 part of that

         ship for £ 265.12 to James Halliday iron merchant of Dumfries. Other owners are John Longton for 8/64 part and

         John Howard for 8/64 part. Master of that ship Charles Henery Williams. Ship was build 1852 at Sunderland

         in county of Durham. [Dumfries-8a/d]

     i) document dated 30-6-1855 at port of Dumfries whereby John Martin of Glencaple in county of Dumfries, part

         owner for 4/64 part of the sailing vessel the barque "Gem of the Nith" of Dumfries 336 tons, has sold for £ 400

         to James Halliday iron merchant of Dumfries. Ship was build in Sunderland in county of Durham by Thomas
