IXf-1) Garden Island Creek:

     a) document 3-5-1940 whereby Roy Lyndon Clennett of Garden Island Creek (Tasmania) sawmiller sells to Crisp &

         Gunn co-operative Limited the goodwill of the timber mill and business at Adventure Bay Bruni Island (Tasmania)

         including forest permit for 710 acres and 100 acres of free hold property for £ 2150 as follows, £ 50 by deposit,

         £ 950 on date of execution of this agreement and £ 1150 later carrying 4½ % intrest yearly, including list of

         machinery and tools. [Garden-Island-Cree-1a/k]

 

IXf-2) Hobart:

    a) document dated 27-6-1853 whereby John Stephen Hampton of Boa Vista near Hobart in Van Diemen's land esquire and Mary his wife have sold

        for 15 pounds to Henry Cowell of Falmouth in Van Diemen's land farmer a piece of land 2 roods [½ acre] or thereabouts, bounded on the east

        by 5 chains northerly lots 1 and 2 purchased from the Crown by Robert Vincent Legge en along lot 3 purchased from the Crown by James Grant

        commencing at the south west angle of the first mentioned allotment on Hammond street and extending to the esplanade on the north by 1 chain

        westerly along the esplande on the west by 5 chains sootherly along lot 5 purchased from the Crown by George Maclean to Hammond street

         and then on the south by 1 chain easterly along that street. [Hobart-14a/e]   

     b) document 29-3-1878 as power of attorney by Joseph Bonney, coach builder of Dunedin, New Zealand, to Charles

         Butler and John McIntyre, solicitors of Hobart (Tasmania) to act for him as attorney in the case against the Main

         Line Railway Company of Tasmania and authorise them to sell any property or land what might come to him as

         result of this claim, via D'Arcy Haggilt, his solicitor of Dunedin, New Zealand. [Hobart-1a/d]

     c) document 2-9-1879 whereby William Jarvis, farmer of Tea Tree near Richmond in Tasmania, has lent £ 100 from

         Charles Butler of Hobart, against 8% intrest yearly, with security: 1) parcel land 56 acres and two roods in parish

         of Yarlington, county of Monmouth (Tasmania) bounded by property of James & Henry Bonney and 2) parcel land

         named "Brandon" 214 acres also in Monmouth, bounded by Joseph Stanley & James Bonney. [Hobart-2a/e]

     d) document 31-5-1883 whereby John Oakley, farmer of Teat Tree near Ricmond in Tasmania has bought for £ 409

         land in Yarlington in county of Monmouth, from Charles Butler, solicitor of Hobart, Tasmania. [Hobart-3a/d]

     e) document 9-5-1923 whereby James Dear of Hobart, legal practitioner, declares that he solely acts for William Pearsall

         in conveyance of land in Kingston (Tasmania) from Joseph Keen. [Hobart-4]

     f) account 1920's from O. Thompson, wholesale and retail fruiterer, greengrocerer, etc. [Hobart-5]

     g) document 2-10-1925 as slip from Hodgman & McCreary, pharmaceutical chemists to mr. Lelley. [Hobart-6]

     h) account 1950's from West Hobart Milk supplies with T.B. and C.A. tested herds. [Hobart-7]

     i) document 20-9-1950 whereby Hubert Reginald Toms, salesman of Hobart (Tasmania) and his wife Margaret Bryson

         Toms have sold to Leslie Nyren Partington, diocesan registrar, for £ 2650 land situating on the main road from

         Kingston to Hobart being 3 lots as per plan of surveyor mr. Payne. [Hobart-8a/b]

     j) document 4-6-1965 from Tasmanian government certifying the business name of J.M. and H.E. Alliston and registered

         under no. 7031 by the registrar. [Hobart-9]

     k-1) memorandum agreement 5-3-1965 between Russell Malcom Davis of 7 Mellifont street, West Hobart (Tasmania) pay

         clerk and Percheron Acceptance Corp. Pty. Ltd. whereby Davis grows 1 portion on plantation 65 in county of St.

         Vincent NSW allocated by Percheron. [Hobart-10a/b]

     k-2) memorandum agreement 5-3-1965 between Russell Malcom Davis of 7 Mellifont street, West Hobart (Tasmania) pay

         clerk and Australian Softwood Corporation Pty. Ltd. whereby company acquired plantion 65 in county of St. Vincent

         NSW and agreed to sell to Davis 300 pinus genus plants. [Hobart-11a/b]

     k-3) document as endorsement 22-2-1982 whereby declared that the agreement between the late Russell Malcom

         Davis and Australian Softwood Corporation Pty. Ltd. with purchase and growing 300 pinus genus trees on plantion 65

         is now in the name of Bryant Russell Davis. [Hobart-12] 

     k-4) document as endorsement 21-9-1987 whereby declared that the agreement between the late Russell Malcom

         Davis and Australian Softwood Corporation Pty. Ltd. with purchase and growing 300 pinus genus trees on plantion 65

         is now in the name of Mary Pauline Davis. [Hobart-13]

 

IXf-3) Launceston: 

     a) account 12-9-1918 of Walter S. Bell & co. and W.J. Stephens, customs, commission, insurance and forwarding agents

         to messrs. Fawkness for shipping bags of bacon to Loongana. [Launceston-1]

 

IXf-4) Tasmania: 

     a) document 11-10-1910 as draft agreement between Elizabeth Mary Bratt of Cradoc (Tasmania), Florence May Riseley

         Johnston of Hobart (Tasmania) as legal representative of estate of Charles Augustus Johnston of Hobart and Horatio

         Johnston deceased intestate of the one part and The Perpetual Trustees Executors & Agency Company of Tasmania

         Limited, as a result of winding up the estate, money was left and paid out to 5 parties. [Tasmania-1a/h]

     b) supreme court of Tasmania document 6-4-1950 whereby declared that Ella Quinn widow of Geeveston (Tasmania) has

         died 29-7-1949. That her last will & testament stated that her daughter Mary Margaret Doyle was the sole heredator and

         appointing Arnold Rex Greeves, orchardist of "Highfield" East Tamar (Tasmania) as sole executor. [Tasmania-2a/c]

     c) supreme court of Tasmania document 11-6-1962 whereby declared that Margaret Reardon married woman of Lyminton

         (Tasmania) has died 21-4-1960. That her last will & testament of 27-6-1945 bequeath £ 100 to priest of roman catholic

         parish of Cygnet and appoint her husband Augustus Reardon and her son Patrick Douglas Reardon as executors &

         trustees and direct that her personal estate to be divided equally between her children. [Tasmania-3a/d]

     d) supreme court of Tasmania document 6-3-1980 whereby declared that George Douglas Vaughan McCuaig of 79 Tran-

         more road Howrah (Tasmania) retired airways executive has died 23-1-1980, That his last will & testament states that

         his wife Peggy Berry McCuaig to be executrix and trustee of his last will. [Tasmania-4a/e]

     e) document 8-9-1989 by registrar supreme court of Tasmania stating that William Robert Yeates, journalist of Franklin

         (Tasmania) has died 19-5-1944, Including copy of last will & testament dated 12-9-1942, whereby his wife Myrtly Yeast

         was executrix of his will, and that after her death all their property to be equally divided between his sons Ian Marsh

         Yeates and Donald McEwan Yeates. [Tasmania-5a/c]

 

IXf-5) Westbury:

     a) handwritten statement 2-11-1878 from James Hoyan roman catholic pastor of Westbury (Tasmania) declaring that the

         marriage of William Smith and Bridget Blake was solemnised on 20-8-1868 in the catholic church of Westbury, witnessed

         by John Smith and Elizabeth Jordan. [Westbury-1]

 

IXf-6) Wynyard:

     a) blank letter from the Methodist Church of Australia, Victorian and Tasmanian Conference, Wynyard Circuit, with rev.

         Geo. H. Shepherd as minister, Methodist pasonage, Wynyard. [Wynyard-1]
